Ponte Vedra Beach’s nearest neighbors are the three Beaches cities of Duval County: Jacksonville Beach, about 2 miles north, Neptune Beach, about 5 miles, and Atlantic Beach, about 7 miles. They share the same stretch of coast and A1A, but not a county. Ponte Vedra Beach is unincorporated St. Johns County, with no city government. The three Beaches are cities, each with its own council and police, inside Duval County, where the consolidated City of Jacksonville provides county government. Palm Valley and Nocatee are also nearby, but they are unincorporated Census areas, not cities.

This page sets out official figures side by side. It does not rank the four places.
