Where to find official public notices for Ponte Vedra Beach: county meeting agendas, zoning hearings, foreclosure and tax deed sales. An index, not the official notice.

Last checked Oct. 10, 2026. This page is an index for convenience. It is not the official publication of any notice. The legally required notice is the one in the publication or on the official website named by the government that issued it.

Ponte Vedra Beach has no city government, so most notices that affect it come from St. Johns County: the Board of County Commissioners, its planning and zoning boards, the Clerk of the Circuit Court and County Comptroller, the Tax Collector and the St. Johns County School District. Each publishes its own. This page points to each official source. The Clerk’s main line is 904-819-3600.

Where to look

County Commission

The St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners meets at 9 a.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of each month in the County Auditorium, 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine. It does not hold a regular meeting on the first Tuesday of January or July. The next regular meeting is Tuesday, Oct. 20. Most public hearings are advertised for 9 a.m., the county says.

Zoning and design hearings

The county’s planning boards calendar lists hearings for the boards that decide Ponte Vedra Beach cases. For the Ponte Vedra / Palm Valley Architectural Review Committee, the county says that calendar serves as the public notice of overlay hearings, with agendas posted seven days before.

Courts, foreclosures and tax deeds

The St. Johns County Clerk of Court conducts foreclosure sales under Florida Statute 45.031 and tax deed sales for property with unpaid real estate taxes, on notice from the Tax Collector. Sale lists and rules are on its foreclosure and tax deed pages. The Clerk also keeps the official records of deeds and mortgages and offers free property fraud alerts.

Delinquent taxes

Each May the Tax Collector advertises delinquent real estate taxes three times and delinquent tangible personal property taxes once in a local newspaper, before the tax certificate sale on or before June 1, its dates page says. See our property tax guide.

Elections

Election notices, sample ballots and early voting sites come from the St. Johns County Supervisor of Elections. See our voting guide.
