Father’s Day 2027 is Sunday, June 20. No Ponte Vedra Beach venue had announced Father’s Day plans as of Oct. 10. Ponte Vedra Beach is best known for golf, and the home of THE PLAYERS Championship is the obvious place to start.

Golf at TPC Sawgrass

TPC Sawgrass, 110 Championship Way, has two championship courses designed by Pete Dye: THE PLAYERS Stadium Course, with its par-3 17th and the famous island green, and Dye’s Valley Course. Tee times are booked through the club’s website, and the main number is 904-273-3235. THE PLAYERS Championship itself comes back to the course March 9-14, 2027, according to the tournament. Brunch

NINETEEN, the TPC Sawgrass clubhouse restaurant, is open to the public and serves Sunday brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with an outdoor verandah overlooking the 18th hole. Car shows

The area’s big car show is in the fall. The Ponte Vedra Auto Show runs 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, 2026, at Nocatee Station Field, 245 Nocatee Center Way, with free admission and parking for spectators, according to Visit St. Augustine. No June car show in Ponte Vedra Beach had been announced; organizers can send one through our contact page.

On the water

  • Palm Valley West Boat Ramp, 230 Lori Lane, has a boat ramp, a kayak ramp and a floating dock under the Palm Valley Bridge; Palm Valley East Boat Ramp is at 383 S. Roscoe Blvd. Both open dawn to dusk (county page).
  • Nocatee Paddle Launch, 9074 Tolomato Road, is for kayaks, canoes and paddleboards only.
  • Guana Outpost South rents kayaks, paddleboards and bikes at the Guana Dam, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, with reservations recommended, according to the GTM Research Reserve.
