Turnout is higher in Ponte Vedra Beach precincts

The tracker also gives turnout by precinct. Six precincts vote on Election Day at polling places with a Ponte Vedra Beach 32082 address: 401, 402, 403, 404, 405 and 407. The 32082 ZIP code also covers Palm Valley.

In those six precincts, 13,762 of 27,985 eligible voters had already voted. That is 49.18%, against 40.25% countywide.

Ballots by voters’ party registration

The tracker sorts ballots by the party each voter is registered with. It does not show how anyone voted.

Registration Early in person By mail Total
Republican 44,109 8,759 52,893
Democratic 17,732 8,754 26,501
No party affiliation 12,412 4,043 16,460
Independent Party of Florida 1,280 453 1,734

The totals include a handful of provisional ballots. Registered Republicans cast about 54% of all ballots so far. Mail ballots were almost evenly split: 8,759 from Republicans and 8,754 from Democrats. Smaller parties account for the remaining 513 ballots.
