Ponte Vedra Beach’s outdoor tables are mostly in Sawgrass: a rooftop at Sawgrass Marriott’s beach club on Ponte Vedra Boulevard, the clubhouse verandah at TPC Sawgrass and a diner in Sawgrass Village. The fourth is a seafood and sushi restaurant on A1A North.

How we made this list. Ponte Vedra Beach is not an incorporated city, so it has no city limits; we used its ZIP code, 32082, which takes in Palm Valley and Sawgrass. Nocatee, ZIP code 32081, is not included. We started with OpenStreetMap records for Ponte Vedra Beach, the same data behind our local directory, and added places from the state’s restaurant license list for the ZIP code. We checked each place against its own website on Oct. 10, 2026, and kept only restaurants whose own site names a patio, verandah, rooftop or outdoor seating. Many others may have a few tables outside; if yours does and your site says so, tell us. The address for 1912 Ocean Bar & Rooftop comes from the state’s license record for the Cabana Beach Club. The places

1912 Ocean Bar & Rooftop is Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa’s cocktail lounge at its Cabana Beach Club. The resort’s page says it fills the second and third floors of the building, with indoor and outdoor seating and Atlantic views, and serves fresh seafood, small plates, cocktails and wine. Sunday brunch runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The dress code is no bathing suits.

The BoatHouse at 240 A1A is a seafood restaurant with a sushi bar and a raw bar. Its site describes a covered outdoor seating area, a full bar and a weekend brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Metro Diner sits under a green awning on Front Street in Sawgrass Village. It serves breakfast all day plus lunch, and its location page lists outdoor dining among its amenities.

NINETEEN at TPC Sawgrass is the clubhouse restaurant at the home of THE PLAYERS Championship. Its dining page says the outdoor verandah has expansive seating with panoramic views of the 18th hole. Happy hour runs 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Reservations are at 904-273-3238.
